To use TURGEN, you need to download and install the Java Development Kit (JDK) or Java Runtime Environment (JRE).

When installing packages from the Adoptium project under Microsoft Windows, it is strongly recommended to install the “JavaSoft (Oracle) registry keys” and “Set JAVA_HOME variable” features. This will help the turgen.exe convenience launcher to locate the JDK or JRE.
